As we look back on 2012 we are astounded by the many blessings and changes that came our way!
January: Jamie began her final semester as a Masters of Arts candidate at Westminster Seminary while Daniel continued working on his start-up, eduschedu.
February: We said goodbye to Jamie’s maternal grandmother, Janet Damiani, who had suffered in recent years with dementia.
March: We visited Jamie’s family in Florida and Jamie attended her first Phillies spring training game with her PopPop, and ran her first half-marathon with Daniel.
April: We said goodbye to Jamie’s paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Walsh, who had suffered in recent years with lung cancer and complications due to diabetes.
May: Jamie graduated with her MA in Biblical Counseling from Westminster Seminary after slowly plodding her way through the program. She also concluded her four years as the primary Greek InterVarsity staff worker at the University of Pennsylvania. We spent 5 weeks together at the FOCUS Study Center in Martha’s Vineyard, leading Penn Greek IV students and FOCUS students in their study and experience of God.

June: We celebrated Liam’s second birthday and learned that we were expecting Baby Sister, due in February 2013.
July: Daniel was hired by Originate Inc. in San Francisco and so ensued a frazzled month of packing and moving and saying goodbye.
August: Daniel drove cross country to the Bay Area with a friend while Jamie and Liam spent a week with her family in Florida. We moved into our new house in Alameda, CA and began our life as left coasters.
September: We found a new church to call home and started making new friends. We also potty trained Liam!

October: We hosted our first house guests: our friend Christina and Jamie’s parents. Liam decidedly did not like trick-or-treating but did like his costume, Super Grover, and the candy.
November: We celebrated our first holiday away from home, Thanksgiving, with new friends from church.
December: Liam began transitioning to his “big boy bed,” we were treated to a visit from old friends, Evan and Liz, and we celebrated Christmas with new friends.

As we look forward to the New Year, we anticipate three sets of visitors in January and a new baby in February! Here's to a happy and healthy 2013!
